Since 2010, the Norwegian-Russian Business Forums are organised by the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (NRCC) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia).
Cooperation between the two Chambers dates back to the beginning of 2000-ies when a newly established Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce signed an agreement of cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The two Chambers have been working together on various projects, exchanging relevant market information, organising seminars and finally, since 2010, organising Norwegian-Russian Business Forums.
The Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (NRCC)
The Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (www.nrcc.no) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established by Norwegian and Russian businesses. The aim of the NRCC is to stimulate and improve business relations between Norwegian and Russian companies. Both the NRCC Board and NRCC Administration consist of people with broad experience from Norwegian-Russian trade relations. The Chamber presently offer regular networking events, newsletters, seminars, courses, business delegations, as well as social, cultural and various ad-hoc arrangements.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI of Russia)
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (www.tpprf.ru) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization representing the interests of small, medium and big enterprises and encompassing all business sectors. The system of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation comprises 174 territorial chambers of commerce and industry and about 50 000 enterprises and organizations of various forms of property. The aim of the CCI of Russia is to promote the growth of the Russian economy and its integration into the world economic system and provide favorable conditions for the advancement of all business sectors.
