What are the overall perspectives for Norwegian-Russian business cooperation? What could or should be the priorities of the CCIs of Russia, NRCC and other organizations that aim to strengthen bilateral business cooperation? The panellists will answer these and other questions and share their views on existing business development opportunities, potential for cooperation in the Arctic and other topics of mutual interest. Research and development for sustainable production, possibilities for the service and supply industry with new and cutting-edge expertise will be discussed. Harsh weather conditions in the Russian and Norwegian High North, strict national and international legislation and the high standards required by O & G operators call for adequate approach in the whole values chain, that also includes appropriate standards within infrastructure development and environment protection. Effective utilization of the resource potential is an important basis for the competitiveness of the supply industry. Both the Norwegian Continental Shelf and the Barents Sea are among the world’s largest offshore markets, providing activities for local and international suppliers and a basis for employment within all stages of the value chain.
